Das Meer

Help, could someone please post an english translation for this song. My German is so awful, all I remember is that Das Meer is The Sea (or Ocean) in English!! It is such a beautiful song, I would love to finally know what it''s all about!!

Hm, maybe I will try within the next few days , though it is more written in a "poem-like" way sometimes, so it might not be an exact translation...could even turn out to be totally wrong  

What about Torben ?
He has written thios song, maybe he can translate it aswell  8)  

Thanks for your help. I think a lot of Torben''s lyrics are more like poems than songs as such. Do the band have much input on this forum? I''m new here and my German is so bad that I probably won''t be visiting often!

My English is not good particularly, but I give myself trouble ;-)...
Were you with the Castle Rock (Mülheim) in Germany ? There Diorama played...
But "Das Meer" they did not play unfortunately.
